Money transfers totaling more than $220 million were sent to Kyrgyzstan in February 2026

Bishkek, April 22 /Xin Hua/ — The volume of money transfers received in Kyrgyzstan in February of the current year amounted to 224.2 million US dollars. The National Bank /Central Bank/ of Kyrgyzstan reported this on Wednesday.

According to data published by the Central Bank on its Telegram channel, the main amount came from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States — 208.2 million dollars. Transfers from countries not belonging to the CIS amounted to 16 million dollars. At the same time, the largest part of the received transfers was sent to Russia — 200.8 million dollars, while 12.4 million dollars came from the USA.

In February 2026, the volume of money transfers from Kyrgyzstan amounted to 18.9 million dollars. Of these, 17.2 million dollars were sent to CIS countries, 1.7 million dollars — to countries not belonging to the CIS. In particular, 16.9 million dollars were transferred to Russia, 1.3 million dollars to Turkey.
