The company “Kran Center KAMAZ”, a subsidiary of “KAMAZ”, has presented a new hook loader on the KAMAZ-65951 chassis of the K5 generation. The novelty is designed to increase the efficiency of logistical operations in communal services, road construction, and the forestry sector.
The presented multilift is a universal mechanism for handling cargoes of various functional purposes. Thanks to the ability to quickly change bodies, a single vehicle can effectively replace several special-purpose units at once, including garbage trucks and dump trucks. This significantly optimizes the costs of maintaining a corporate fleet.
The main part of the system is a powerful hook with a height of 1570 mm, capable of lifting multi-ton loads. The installation is designed to work with removable bunkers with an overall length from 5050 to 7440 mm and allows for independently changing the body or operating in dump truck mode.
The interchangeable bunker has a key advantage over other body types: it can be detached from the chassis and left on site for an extended period. This gives the customer unlimited time reserve to fill the bunker, excluding the simple chassis itself. The curb weight of the presented loader is 17,800 kg, with the load optimally distributed: 9,460 kg on the front axles and 8,340 kg on the rear bridge trolley. Thanks to its functional “hook,” it finds wide application in road construction, forestry, and agriculture.
