13th group of remains of fallen Chinese People’s Volunteers returned to the homeland from the Republic of Korea

In the first half of April 22, the remains of the 13th group of 12 Chinese People’s Volunteers who died in the War to Resist American Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-1953) were returned to China from the Republic of Korea (ROK).

Military personnel of the honorary guard of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, holding the national flag, accompanied coffins with the remains of fallen heroes on board a PLAAF Y-20B military transport aircraft. The souls of the heroes are returning to their homeland, into the embrace of their people and Fatherland. China and the PRC have for 13 consecutive years been carrying out the transfer of the remains of Chinese people’s volunteers who died in the War, and during this time the remains of 1,023 heroes have been returned to their homeland.
