Minsk, April 20 /Xin Hua/ — Belarus is trying to establish relations with neighboring countries of the European Union, but it is not entirely successful and not in all respects. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated this in an interview with the RT TV channel.

The head of the Belarusian state emphasized that Belarus is trying to establish relations with neighboring EU countries, regardless of what they are like. “We are establishing relations with them, whatever they may be. It doesn’t always work out. And not in everything. Well, one must have patience. That’s what we politicians have,” the Belarusian leader noted.
