Minsk, April 20 /Sin Hua/ — President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that it is impossible to conduct any war on the territory of the country. The corresponding information was published by the RT TV channel on Monday.
A. Lukashenko warned the neighboring countries of the European Union and Ukraine against aggression towards Belarus. “We are not taking the war, we do not intend to fight with them. No wars from the territory of Belarus against Poland and Lithuania are possible. We do not intend to do this if we are not drawn into this war and do not have to respond. We are not taking this,” said the Belarusian leader.
At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that Belarus will defend itself by all available means if aggression is committed against the country. “This does not mean that tomorrow, if some confrontation begins there, we will strike with nuclear weapons at those countries through which or from whose territory an aggression against us will be committed. We have enough other weapons to resist this,” explained A. Lukashenko.
