Beijing, April 20 /Xinhua/ — China and the United States have a broad space for cooperation and extensive common interests. This was stated on Monday by Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC, Li Keqiang.
He Lifeng, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made this statement during a meeting with Myron Brilliant, senior consultant at the American consulting firm Albright Stonebridge Group.
The Vice Premier of the State Council noted that China’s economy took a confident start in the first quarter of 2026. According to him, key indicators demonstrated a fairly good growth, which testifies to the high sustainability and stability of the Chinese economy.
Heather Liffen expressed hope that Albright Stonebridge Group will continue to play an active role in promoting stable, healthy, and sustainable development of China-U.S. trade and economic relations.
M. Brilliant, for his part, stated that healthy and stable trade-economic relations between the USA and China do not benefit both countries and the entire world. He expressed willingness to act as a bridge for further deepening of bilateral trade-economic cooperation. –0–
