Beijing, April 19 /Xinhua/ — On Saturday, a charter tourist flight connecting the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province in northern China with the capital of Russia was resumed.
According to the news website “Chjunsinvan”, Shanxi Province has been launching a charter tourist flight to Russia for the fourth consecutive year. The air route will facilitate cultural and tourist exchanges between Shanxi and Russia, as well as contribute to improving the quality of inbound and outbound tourism in this province.
Charter flights on this air route will be operated twice a week. Flight Y7534 on the Taiyuan-Moscow route will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and the return flight Y7533 will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays.
As reported, the resumption of the direct air route is aimed at meeting the growing demand at the peak of the tourist season.
