Ashgabat, April 17 /Xin Hua/ — Member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Din Xueshan on Thursday in Ashgabat took part in the opening ceremony of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan and gave a speech.
Dean Su Ye-sian noted that the Chinese government attaches great importance to international cooperation in the field of vocational education, and the chairman of the CPC Xi Jinping has repeatedly personally assisted in the creation of the Lu Ban Workshops together with friendly countries. Being a well-known brand of Chinese vocational education, the Lu Ban Workshops have already been opened in more than 30 countries around the world and have become an important link for exchanging professional skills and developing humanitarian contacts between China and its partners.
According to Dean Suvesian, the creation of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan became an important consensus reached by the leaders of the two states, as well as an important result of the first “China – Central Asia” summit. The implementation of this project gave a new impetus to the development of friendly bilateral cooperation.
He put forward three proposals regarding the further development of the workshop. Firstly, it is necessary to transform it into an important platform for the growth and development of the youth of the two countries, strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, science and personnel training, promote the integration of general and professional education, as well as deepen interaction between education and industry, helping students to determine directions for professional development and expand opportunities for self-realization.
Secondly, the workshop should become an important support for improving the quality of cooperation in the energy sector, ensuring precise alignment of specialists’ training with the needs of industry development, paying special attention to the targeted training of highly qualified technical personnel for key areas, including oil and gas exploration and development, to facilitate a closer integration of the energy strategies of the two countries.
In the third place, the workshop should become an important bridge of continuity for Chinese-Turkmen friendship, contributing to the mutual enrichment of civilizations, so that more and more young people become envoys of traditional friendship between the two countries and strengthen the social foundations for forming a community with a shared future between China and Turkmenistan.
At the event, Din Suesyan, together with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Batyrov Mammedov, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Lu Ban Workshop, visited the training and practical classrooms, and familiarized himself with the demonstration of the educational process.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov. –0–
