On April 13 in Haikou (Hainan Province), the opening ceremony of the sixth China International Consumer Products Expo and the launch of the 2026 international consumption season “Shop in China” (hereinafter — CICPE) took place. The pavilion “Selected Products of National Ceramics,” created jointly by the Chinese Information Internet Center “Zhungovan” and the China Ceramic Industry Association, officially opened in the exhibition area “Goods in the National Style ‘Gochao’ Enter the Global Market.”
The project “Selected National Ceramics Products” is a key project of the international trade platform “China Ceramics,” aimed at promoting porcelain culture in the field of foreign trade. The platform operates under the guidance of the CNPI Management for Publishing and Distribution of Foreign Language Literature and is organized by the Chinese Information Internet Center “Zhongguan.” It is included in the list of priority projects of the “Action Plan for the Development of Foreign Trade in the Cultural Sector,” issued by six departments, including the Ministry of Commerce.
In the pavilion “Selected Works of National Ceramics” at the sixth Chinese International Consumer Goods Fair, the best samples of ceramic art and design from various regions of the country are presented. The pavilion includes three functional zones: an exhibition area for ceramic enterprises, a cultural interview and live internet broadcast zone, as well as a business negotiation area. In addition, exhibitors are provided with operational support, including uniform booth design, multilingual media coverage, and pavilion visits by leading figures.Interactive points for check-in “Porcelain — the source of all diversity” were also organized on site to make visiting the exhibition even more engaging for visitors.
The main event of the pavilion was a thematic presentation and conference on business promotion “Chinese porcelain is conquering the world market” (Fine porcelain for the world, trade linking the globe), held on the 13th in the second half of the day. Key projects were presented during the event, including the Project “Selected items of national ceramics,” as well as an industry round table and events to facilitate contacts between suppliers and buyers.
Deputy Head of the KNP Department for Publishing and Distribution of Foreign Language Literature Yu Yuanyuan, speaking within the framework of CICPE, noted that facilitating access to the international market for ceramic culture is an important measure for fulfilling the tasks and mission in the field of international communication.In the future, the Chinese Information Internet Center “Zhungovan” will continue to leverage its comprehensive advantages, implement innovative communication methods, actively promote the expansion of international exchange and cooperation in the field of Chinese culture, and also contribute to strengthening the influence and dissemination of Chinese civilization.
