Moscow, April 17 /TASS/ — The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) launched the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with spacecraft from the Ministry of Defense of Russia on board from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, the Russian space agency Roscosmos reported on Friday in its Telegram channel.

“After the launch, the Soyuz 2.1b carrier rocket was taken under the control of the ground measurement complex of the cosmodrome. The carrier rocket launch proceeded normally,” the agency clarified.

The previous launch from Plesetsk took place on April 3. At that time, the Russian Aerospace Forces also deployed a military satellite into orbit. –0–
