In Morocco, the “RAFU Days” have started — a large-scale event organized by the Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great. SPbPU has been acting as the coordinator of the Russian-African network university consortium (RAFU) for the third year already.
The Russian delegation included universities participating in RAU: N. I. Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University, Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, Patrice Lumumba People’s Friendship University of Russia, Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
The main venue of the “EAUF Days” in Morocco was the International Student Forum in Casablanca (Le Forum International de l’Étudiant). This event is one of the largest international educational fairs in Morocco and the region, which annually gathers more than 200,000 visitors and 800 participants from all over the world.
This year, 25 countries are participating in the exhibition. On the joint RAEU stand, six leading Russian universities present their programs for Moroccan applicants.
Graduates of SPbPU from Morocco also work at the stand — the chairman of the SPbPU Alumni Association in the Kingdom of Morocco, Omar Sabri, and Ahmed Shinaf. They consult exhibition visitors in Arabic and French, sharing their experience of studying at the Polytechnic.
