On April 13, spring classes in the day schools for residents started in Shany. This year, within the framework of the spring semester of day courses, 126 educational sites and 367 courses are provided, in which more than 6700 students participate. Day courses are a project of artistic and aesthetic education, representing a daytime extension of the “Night School of Arts for Shany residents.” Most of the courses are developed based on those that have been conducted for a long time at the night school and have received positive feedback from listeners.
In the autumn of 2025, day courses for city residents were opened for the first time in Shanghai, with an overall listener satisfaction level exceeding 95%, indicating a huge demand from residents for high-quality daytime cultural events. This year, the spring semester of day courses has significantly expanded: the number of learning centers, courses, and listeners increased, and online courses were also launched to better meet the educational needs of residents.
