At the Krasnodar TEC LUKOIL, a power unit with a capacity of 150 MW was launched after a comprehensive modernization – this is the second project implemented at the enterprise with the use of the mechanism of state support DPM-2.
During the modernization process, the “power island” of the power units was replaced with fully domestic equipment with high efficiency. The commissioning of the facility will not only effectively meet the growing demand for electric and thermal energy in the city of Krasnodar, but also significantly improve the environmental performance of the enterprise. The annual fuel consumption reduction after project implementation will amount to about 63 thousand tons of conventional fuel per year, which is equivalent to reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by 100 thousand tons of CO2-equivalent.
Also, at the Krasnodar Thermal Power Plant, a solemn ceremony was held for the laying of the first stone of the new power unit No. 5, the construction of which is also planned with the application of state support mechanisms.
As part of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of LUKOIL, awards were presented to the best employees of the organizations of the LUKOIL Group in the Southern Federal District with state, departmental, and corporate awards.
