Beijing, April 13 /Xin Hua/ — The Chinese side welcomes the more significant role of the Pakistani side in promoting peace in the region and expresses readiness, together with the international community, including Pakistan, to continue making an active contribution to the speedy restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East. This was stated on Monday by China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Wan Yi, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made corresponding statements during a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
