In honor of the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s flight, a nationwide Russian Space Dictation “Frames for Space” was held across the country, one of the speakers of which was a young scientist from the GUU, the absolute winner of the 2025 Russian Space Dictation, Nikita Akinshin.

The deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, head of the federal project “Personnel for Space” Olga Petrov addressed the participants of the dictation with a welcoming speech. She also read out the first questions of the online dictation.

The entire test contained 30 questions about a wide variety of facts from the history of space exploration, biographies of designers, and contemporary achievements of Russian cosmonautics.

PhD student at GUU, employee of the Student Design Bureau (SKB) of our university, absolute winner of the All-Russian Space Dictation 2025, Nikita Akinshin also performed as a speaker and read out the dictation questions for the kids who decided to test their knowledge this year.

At the invitation of the project office of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the event was attended by a young scientist of the State University of Management, a postgraduate student, an employee of the SKB GUU, the absolute winner of the All-Russian Space Dictation 2025, Vladimir Kutkov.

A total of more than 44 thousand people from various regions of the country took the dictation. The results will be summarized by April 20, 2026 on the official website of the federal project “Personnel for Space.” All participants of the dictation will receive personalized certificates, and the best among them will be awarded prizes from project partners and commemorative diplomas.

It should be noted that the State University of Management actively supports initiatives aimed at developing the human resources potential of Russian cosmonautics: thus, in 2025, a Center for Space Research, Unmanned and Radioelectronic Technologies will be opened at the university, one of the directions of which will be the integration of the State University of Management into the “Cadres for Space” program.

The selection of young scientists from GUU as project faces became recognition of the high results shown earlier, confirmation of the contribution of our university’s students and graduate students to the popularization of the space industry, and also emphasized the trend towards openness of science and active involvement of youth. Space is closer than it seems, and young innovators are the main guides in this world.
