Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution on the establishment of the National Shipbuilding Research Center named after academician A.N. Krylov. The decision was made within the framework of the Presidential decree.

In the new federal institution, fundamental and applied scientific research will be conducted in the field of shipbuilding and marine technology, a complete innovation cycle of scientific research and experimental design work will be carried out on priority areas of development of shipbuilding and marine technology.

In addition, the center will participate in the development and justification of shipbuilding programs, as well as consolidate the research, design, technological, and personnel potential of leading scientific organizations to form an advanced scientific and technical groundwork and the development of breakthrough technologies in the field of shipbuilding and marine technology development.
