Yerevan, April 11 /Sina/ — In the capital of Armenia on Saturday, the next stage of the World Cup in sambo began. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian government.
At the opening ceremony, a greeting from the president of the International Sambo Federation, Valery Shestakov, was read, in which gratitude was expressed to the government of Armenia for supporting the development of sambo in the country and the organization of this tournament at a high level.
510 sambists from 22 countries are competing for the medals in sports and combat sambo competitions.
