Beirut, April 10 /Sina/ — The leader of the “Hezbollah” movement, Naïm Qassem, said on Friday that Israeli forces failed to achieve their military objectives, including the planned ground invasion, and promised to continue resisting.

As noted by N. Kasem in his statement, the armed forces of the Jewish state suffered losses as a result of the ambush, and its military technician was destroyed along the Lebanon-Israel border.

The head of the movement indicated that Israel was unable to prevent Hezbollah’s missile, artillery, and drone strikes from reaching territories as far north as the Israeli city of Haifa, and accused Tel Aviv of intensifying attacks on civilian areas, including Beirut and its southern suburbs, in an attempt to compensate for its ‘failures’ on the battlefield.

N. Kasem rejected any possibility of returning to the previous conditions and urged Lebanese officials not to make any concessions.

“The enemy’s threats and weapons will not intimidate us,” he said, once again reaffirming his group’s commitment to defending Lebanon’s sovereignty.

N. Kasem also expressed condolences to the relatives of those who died in the conflict zone, including civilians and Lebanese fighters, and wished a speedy recovery to all the wounded.
