China Successfully Launches New Group of Internet Satellites

Taiyuan, April 9 /Xin Hua/ — On Thursday, China successfully launched a new group of satellites into space from the Taiyuan Cosmodrome, located in Shanxi Province in the north of the country.

A group of satellites, constituting the 21st batch of low-Earth orbit internet satellites, was launched at 03:38 Beijing time using a modified version of the Long March-6 carrier rocket and was placed into the designated orbit.

This launch was the 637th flight of the “Changzheng” series carrier rockets.
