Bishkek, April 8 /Xin Hua/ — Kyrgyzstan welcomes the achievement of a ceasefire agreement in the Middle East. This was reported on Wednesday by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic.
As noted, Kyrgyzstan also welcomes the efforts of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other interested parties aimed at facilitating de-escalation and promoting peaceful dialogue.
“Consistently advocating for the settlement of all disagreements exclusively through political and diplomatic means, based on the UN Charter and generally recognized norms of international law, the Kyrgyz Republic expresses hope for the achievement of a stable and long-term peace in the region,” the statement says. –0–
