Moscow, April 7 /Xin Hua/ — Moscow has made a special statement to the Baltic states regarding their intention to allow Ukrainian drones (UAVs) to use their airspace to attack Russian territory. This was reported on Monday by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Russia has issued a special warning to the Baltic countries about the decision to open the airspace for the flight of Ukrainian Bayraktar drones during an attack on the Russian Federation,” her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
M. Zaharova explained that if the Baltic countries do not heed the warnings coming from Russia and still allow drone flights, they will have to face retaliatory measures.
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, stated on April 2 that the Baltic countries did not open their airspace for the flight of Ukrainian drones.
