Almaty, April 3 /Xin Hua/ — In the fourth quarter of 2025, the average nominal salary in Kazakhstan reached 473,158 tenge (about 1,001.8 US dollars). This was reported on Friday by the “Kursiv” portal with a reference to the data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.
Despite the nominal increase of 8.8% compared to the same period in 2024, in real terms — taking inflation into account — the salary decreased by 3.2%, the announcement states.
The highest salary increases were recorded in agriculture, forestry, and fishing — by 25.9%. A significant growth was also noted in real estate operations — 14.5%, in transport and storage — 11.9%, in arts and entertainment — 10.8%, in information and communication — 10.7%, as well as in trade and car repair — 10.3%.
