Moscow, April 2 /Sina UA/ — The temporary ban on gasoline exports from Russia, in effect until July 31, also applies to petroleum product manufacturers. The Russian government press service reported this on April 2.

“The government has extended the restrictions on the export of gasoline by direct producers of petroleum products until July 31, 2026. The resolution on this has been signed,” the statement from the Russian government said.

It is clarified that the restriction will not apply to supplies under international intergovernmental agreements.

“The decision was made to preserve a stable situation in the domestic fuel market during the period of high seasonal demand and agricultural field work, as well as in connection with the growth of world oil prices due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle / Near East,” the Russian government statement explains.

Earlier in Russia, there was a ban on gasoline exports until the end of July only for non-producers.
