First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov awarded the laureate of the national industrial award “Industry”. The ceremony took place at the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom” in Yekaterinburg.
Russian organizations operating in civilian industries and having experience in the Russian market participate in the competition for the government award. This year, the winner was the Institute of Light Materials and Technologies with a project to create a line of domestic import-substituting powder aluminum alloys for 3D printing.
The nominees present their products and technologies within the framework of the collective booth of innovative industrial projects of the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the “Innoprom” exhibition. This year among them are the United Engine Corporation, JSC “Electroprivod NPC-21”, LLC “Optosystems” and LLC “Fingo-Complex”.
The award was established by the Government decree dated June 26, 2015 No. 637 and is presented annually for achievements in the field of industrial production related to the widespread application of fundamentally new products (machinery, devices, equipment, software, materials, and substances) and manufacturing technologies characterized by technological innovation.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Denis Manturov also met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Turchin. The parties discussed the implementation of key cooperative projects and further steps to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
