The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 16th International Industrial Exhibition ‘Innoprom’.
From the transcript:
M. Mishustin: Hello, friends! Glad to see you.
Dear Alexander Genrikhovich, dear colleagues, we have gathered primarily to discuss those issues on the bilateral agenda that our presidents Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko have set before us. There are many issues, including, in particular, questions of industrial cooperation.
Tomorrow we will attend together the largest exhibition. I want to say that Belarusian products are impressive, with many interesting innovative solutions offered by the partners. Joint ventures with Russians, new technologies will be presented at the stands. We will definitely look at the best options of wheeled machinery, automotive equipment, and industrial products of various kinds. Also, of course, we will discuss issues related to hydrocarbons, about interaction on a whole range of energy issues, in the financial sphere, and in the socio-cultural sphere. And tomorrow we will already hold official negotiations.
Dear Alexander Genrikhovich, welcome to Yekaterinburg.
A. Turchin: Thank you. Of course, it’s good that you and your colleagues found time to work with us on a day off, because the agenda set by our presidents is always intense, as was their last meeting. And today is a logical continuation. We probably need to make some decisions.
At the regions forum, Alexey Logvinovich and I (Overchuk) We have met with colleagues, so the agenda is extensive and there is much to discuss, dear Mikhail Vladimirovich.
I am simply convinced that the “Innoprom” forum is a big deal not only for the Russian Federation but also for Belarus and the EAEU countries. Therefore, of course, our new achievements, joint projects – all of this is impressive, and we have room to move forward.
M. Mishustin: And continue in September. In Belarus. There will also be an industrial exhibition there.
A. Turchin: Certainly. Mikhail Vladimirovich. So we are waiting for you and your colleagues. Once again, thank you very much for the invitation.
