Tehran, April 7 /Xin Hua/ — At least 18 people were killed and another 24 injured on Tuesday as a result of Israeli airstrikes on residential homes in the Alborz province of Iran. This was reported by the official Iranian news agency IRNA citing the deputy governor Kodratollah Seif.
It is noted that the victims were immediately taken to nearby medical facilities. Among the dead are two children.
K. Seiff called these strikes “cowardly,” stating that the strikes on residential buildings were carried out by Israeli fighter jets with the direct support of the USA.
