Aden /Yemen/, July 5 /Xinhua/ — A cargo ship was attacked on Sunday by unknown armed individuals in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen. This was reported on the social network X by the Maritime Trade Operations Coordination Center of the UK Royal Navy /UKMTO/.
The statement says that the UKMTO received information about an incident that occurred approximately 30 nautical miles / about 55.6 km / southwest of the port city of Hodeidah. The cargo ship issued a distress signal. –0–
