On July 3, nearly 2,000 students of the State University of Management graduated and received diplomas from the country’s first management university, with more than 600 of them graduating with honors.
At the celebration themed “One Path” as a symbol of unity and moving forward, graduates and parents were awaited by themed photo zones, interactive entertainment, and the most anticipated event of recent years – the diploma awarding ceremony.
The rector of GUU, Vladimir Stroev, opened the solemn ceremony, wishing the students success in their journey and a return to their alma mater.
“Today you are beginning a new path, some will continue it with us in graduate school, postgraduate studies, or already as staff members, some will go on to develop the country’s economy in other organizations and sectors. I wish everyone to never forget the time spent here, to continue studying and to successfully develop in their field. GUU is also not standing still: new laboratories, Centers, coworking and relaxation areas are emerging, and very soon the doors of a new dormitory will open. We always remember each of you and look forward to seeing you within these familiar walls.”
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Olga Petrova also congratulated the graduates on this joyful day.
“You worked toward this for several years through exams and tests, so that today you can proudly say: ‘I am a graduate of the State University of Management!’ Remember your teachers, who invested not only knowledge but also their souls into you, shaping you into such wonderful, caring graduates who will continue to drive and develop our great country.”

The Director of the Department of Human Resources Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, a GUU graduate Aleksey Svistunov, invited graduates to join the Ministry of Education and Science and presented an award for contribution to strengthening interethnic harmony to the graduate of IZO, Marianna Loretsyan.
Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Mikhail Delyagin wished the students to maintain student fraternity and never stop learning. From his hands, the award for achievements in scientific activities was received by the GUU:

The Deputy Head of Rosobrnadzor, GUU graduate Evgeny Semchenko, shared his memories of studying at GUU: “27 years ago, I earned the proud title of a GUU graduate, and throughout all these years of work, I have never forgotten my alma mater. Moreover, within the university’s walls, I not only gained knowledge and laid the foundation for my professional future, but also found personal happiness. With a GUU diploma, all roads are open to you; I wish you success on your path and never forget your native university!”
Evgeny Semchenko presented an award for academic achievements to IUPSIBK graduate Elena Semikolenova.
Vice-President of RSPP, Head of the Healthcare Management Department at GUU Viktor Cherepov reminded that the strongest families are founded during university years, congratulated the students on becoming “graduates of the best management university in the country,” and emphasized that a GUU diploma is valued everywhere. After the ceremonial speech, Viktor Cherepov presented awards for active participation in cultural and creative activities to the following graduates:

The Deputy Head of the Department of Innovative Activities of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, GUU graduate Artur Galiullin, wished the graduates success in adult life and presented awards for sports achievements and a significant contribution to the development of sports. The following were honored with awards:

- IEF Nikolay Tormanov
The Head of the Council of Deputies of the Vykhino-Zhulebino municipal district, Nina Kalkova, a trusted representative of Petr Tolstoy, conveyed his parting words:
“The State University of Management is one of the best leading management universities in our country. The demand for its graduates has been and remains among the highest. Here, qualified managers are trained who know how to think strategically and make the most responsible decisions.”
Best wishes from the Head of the Federal Treasury and GUU graduate Roman Artyukhin were conveyed by his assistant, GUU graduate Georgy Tarkhanovsky: “The university has given you a solid foundation of knowledge, developed your abilities, and gifted you with true friends who will stay with you for a long time. Ahead lies adult life, and all the challenges you will encounter along the way should be seen not as obstacles, but as springboards for development. Believe in your strength, act confidently, and your achievements will become a contribution to the future of the country.”
Nina Kalkova and Georgy Tarkhanovsky presented awards for active participation in the social life of GUEU. The recipients were:

The President of the NOTECH Association, GUU alumnus Aleksey Nikitin, admitted that he always feels a thrill when visiting his alma mater and advised graduates to preserve student friendships, as they can become the key to success and major joint projects. Additionally, Aleksey Nikitin presented an award for coverage of public, cultural, creative, and sports life to IIS alumna Anastasiya Kovalyova.
In total, in 2026, 1,926 graduates completed their studies at the State University of Management, including 1,140 bachelors and 440 masters. 603 young professionals received diplomas with honors, 105 students were awarded certificates of honor for their contribution to the development of university life, and 33 graduates received special awards for achievements in academic, scientific, social, and sports activities, information support of university life, and strengthening interethnic harmony among the peoples of Russia.
