Moscow hospitals have begun using “Yandex” delivery robots in pilot mode for transporting medicines and blood samples. This was announced on its channel inMAX messengerSergey Sobyanin reported.
Electronic assistants are being tested on the territory of city clinical hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov andNo. 1 named after N. I. Pirogov. The experiment is conducted within the framework of the national project“Long and active life”.
“Robots circulate between hospital buildings. They deliver biomaterial samples and transport clean materials to the laboratory, and they can also take medicines from the pharmacy to the ward within the hospital grounds. They build their own route, bypassing obstacles and delivering the cargo intact in any weather,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Before launching the robots, specialists worked out all the necessary routes with stops and estimated delivery times. Employees at the stations, trained in the use of such equipment, control them with the help of smartphones.
