Beijing, July 2 /Xinhua/ — On Thursday, the 10th meeting of the heads of tourism administrations of China, Russia, and Mongolia was held in Hohhot /administrative center of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Northern China/. This was reported by the Chinese news agency “Zhongguo Xinwen She” on its website.
The meeting of the heads of tourism administrations of China, Russia, and Mongolia is an important mechanism for implementing the consensus of the heads of state of the three countries and promoting the development of cross-border cooperation in tourism. In 2016, the first meeting was held in Hohhot, during which the international tourism union “Great Tea Road” /China-Russia-Mongolia/ was established.
The responsible secretary of the International Tourism Union “Great Tea Road” /China-Russia-Mongolia/, Ji Xiaoqing, noted that after 10 years of development, this organization covers 28 cultural and tourism departments of the three countries.
