The qualifying round of the X championship of the Rostec State Corporation “Shock Ten” took place at KAMAZ. The competition was dedicated to the memory of Lenar Shamsiev, a master of the automobile plant and multiple winner of this contest, who died in the special military operation zone.

A boxing zone has been set up near the cabin assembly workshop of the automobile factory. There is a banner, a punching bag with force sensors, as well as tables with participant certificates (where names and results were recorded) and cards with weight categories. As last year, there were five of them. Additionally, the best among participants over 50 years old were identified without regard to weight. Each athlete was given three punches, and the best result counted. The winners will go to Moscow for the grand final at the end of the year.

As is customary, the official part took place at the automobile plant. Vladislav Gavrilov, deputy chairman of the KAMAZ trade union committee, spoke to the athletes. He thanked the Rostec State Corporation for organizing this competition and wished the KAMAZ team successful performances.

On the same day, in the assembly hall of ABK-9 at the foundry plant, the second venue of the “Strike Ten” competition unfolded. The foundry workers traditionally not only actively participate in this contest but also win prizes in their weight categories. The factory especially awaited the performances of Anatoly and Ekaterina Pakhomov, who year after year consistently demonstrate the highest results for KAMAZ. The couple are among the top three leaders at the grand finals in Moscow and inspire their colleagues by example. Before the attempts began, Anatoly Pakhomov noted that he planned to achieve a result exceeding 800 kg this time – and he succeeded.

The competitions were just as exciting at the third site—the side entrance of the R&D center. Employees of the development unit actively joined the fight for the prize places.

This year, more than 500 people participated in the qualifying round of the “Strike Ten” at KAMAZ. Among the men, gold medals in their weight categories were won by Ilnur Mullayarov (foundry plant), Eduard Aglyamov (foundry plant), Ilnar Shaygardonov (“PJDT-Service”), and Nizami Akhmedov (office of the deputy general director – development director). In the super heavyweight category over 93 kg, Anatoly Pakhomov (foundry plant) won, and among veterans over 50 years old, Gayaz Kalimullin (automobile plant) was the best.

In the women’s category, Ilsina Yakhina (PRZ), Liliya Funtikova (foundry plant), and Maria Davydova (automobile plant) stood out. The top awards were also won by representatives of the foundry plant: Yana Gribkova, Ekaterina Pakhomova, and Natalya Kholodova (in the category over 50 years old).
