Jakarta, July 1 /Xinhua/ — Belarus has requested Indonesia to annually supply 120,000 tons of cocoa and 14,000 tons of crude palm oil, Indonesian Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman said on Tuesday.
Trade opportunities were discussed during the bilateral meeting held in Jakarta.
After the meeting, the minister told journalists that high demand has given Indonesia the opportunity to expand its export markets, as the country accelerates large-scale cocoa cultivation programs in various regions to increase production volumes.
In addition to trading raw materials, the two countries also discussed potential cooperation in the field of agricultural development, particularly in agricultural machinery and agricultural mechanization, in which Belarus is an expert. –0–
