New air route connects the Chinese city of Changchun with Vladivostok

Beijing, June 30 /Xinhua/ — On Monday, an international passenger air route between the city of Changchun /administrative center of Jilin Province, Northeast China/ and Vladivostok was officially launched. This was reported by the online portal “Zhongguo Xinwenwang”.

According to reports, the new air route was jointly opened by Changchun Longjia International Airport and the Chinese airline CHENGDU AIRLINES, and will be operated by Chinese-made C909 aircraft in both directions on Mondays and Fridays.

The opening of the new air route is of great importance for deepening interregional trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia, as well as for promoting bilateral humanitarian exchanges and the development of cross-border tourism, the statement notes.
