The project of students from GUU on the protection of national symbols of Russia took 3rd place in the All-Russian competition “Leaders of Law – 2026”.
A third-year student of the Faculty of “Law and Management,” Anastasia Loseva, attended the events of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum and performed in the final of the IX All-Russian competition “Leaders of Law – 2026.”
The young woman presented the project “Protection of Russian National Symbols – a Strategic Priority of National Security,” developed in collaboration with her classmate Maria Mashkova. The students proposed to enshrine the concept of “Russian national symbols” at the federal level. According to the authors, this measure could become an important tool for shaping civic and national identity, understanding the common historical path, respecting traditions, cultural heritage, and responsibility for the country’s future.
As a result of the final defense, the team from GUU took 3rd place. A total of 60 teams participated in the competition, of which only 4 advanced to the final.
Congratulations to our female students on a worthy result and thank you for the important topic they raised in their research. We wish them further victories and excellent studies!
