Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated inventors and innovators on their professional holiday, and also wished school graduates to continue their work with dignity.

“This day serves as a reminder that the main driving force of progress is people capable of turning ideas into real products and technologies. With the support of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we are developing the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers. He added that the unique experience of the veterans of the Special Military Operation is currently in high demand for solving tasks in the defense industry. At the same time, it is important to involve them in joint work by creating new VOIR units based at universities and research institutes.

Dmitry Chernyshenko also noted that Inventor and Innovator Day coincided with school graduations.

“For young people, this is an important stage: behind them are the OGE and EGE exams, ahead are admission and career choices. It is encouraging that schoolchildren choose natural science subjects and aim to obtain engineering specialties in the future,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
