Beijing, June 29 /Xinhua/ — Recently, within the framework of the 9th China-Eurasia Expo, the online pharmacy “China /Xinjiang/ – Central Asia” (hereinafter referred to as the “central pharmacy”) was officially launched. It is designed for precise integration with the pharmaceutical market in Central Asia and to promote the internationalization of the relevant Chinese industries.

This was reported by the Chinese news agency “Zhongguo Xinwen She” on its website.

“Central Pharmacy” acts as a platform for providing public services to facilitate the entry of Chinese pharmaceutical companies into the Central Asian markets. Relying on a streamlined system, enterprises can join forces to enter foreign markets together, as well as go through all stages in a “one-stop-shop” format – from establishing contacts and localization to a full-fledged entry into the foreign market.

In the first half of the current year, this platform established 3 foreign physical bases in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia and plans to add 5 more foreign points in the second half of the year.

Currently, the average annual growth rate of the Central Asian pharmaceutical market reaches 12%, and its total volume exceeds 3 billion USD, opening broad prospects for foreign markets.

The responsible representative of the Medical Support Administration of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region /XUAR/ noted that the creation of the “central pharmacy” is aimed at promoting the entry of high-quality Chinese pharmaceutical products into foreign markets, providing neighboring countries’ populations with better medicines, and facilitating the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical industry of XUAR.

According to him, in the future the “central pharmacy” will continue to improve the platform’s functional capabilities, create a favorable industry ecosystem, and comprehensively enhance the quality and efficiency of its operations.

Recall that from June 25 to 29, the 9th CHINA-EURASIA EXPO is taking place in the city of Urumqi, the administrative center of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China, which aims to promote the development of trade and investment cooperation between China and the countries of Eurasia. -0-
