Beijing, June 29 /Xinhua/ — On Monday, the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC added 20 more Japanese organizations, including the National Institute for Defense Studies, to the list of export controls for the purpose of protecting national security and interests, as well as fulfilling international obligations, such as non-proliferation.
Those engaged in export operations are prohibited from exporting dual-use goods to these organizations. Organizations and individuals located outside China are prohibited from transferring or providing them with Chinese-produced goods. Any related activities currently being carried out must be immediately stopped, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce.
Also on Monday, the Ministry of Commerce included 20 Japanese organizations, including Mitsui E&S Co., Ltd., in the watchlist, since their end users and end-use purposes of dual-use goods cannot be verified. -0-
