Moscow, June 26 /Xinhua/ — The Government of Russia has extended until the end of 2026 the temporary ban on the export of certain types of ores essential for fertilizer production, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on Friday.
Restrictions introduced from November 2025 concern the export of liquid, granulated, and lump sulfur. They are aimed at stabilizing raw material shipments to the domestic market, as well as preserving current fertilizer production volumes and ensuring the country’s food security.
