The fifth edition of the GUU pre-university pleased with its results: one graduate scored the maximum Unified State Exam (USE) points in three subjects, two more graduates scored 100 points on one of the exams each, and more than half a dozen gold and silver medals were earned.

Rector of Kuban State University Vladimir Stroev congratulated the graduates, their parents, and teachers on the holiday and wished them successful admission.

“This year’s graduating class has shown particularly good results, all classes possess great potential. Today, endless opportunities are opening up before you. As the rector, of course, I want education to continue at GUU: we have a comfortable and safe unified campus that you are already familiar with, some of the best teachers and students. I know that most are already planning to enroll, and the others still have time to think. See you on September 1 already with the status of GUU students!”

Vladimir Stroev, together with the director of Pre-University Marina Grigoryeva, presented certificates, gold medals, and gifts to the students who scored the maximum points on the Unified State Exam (USE):

  • Graduate of 11 “G” Darya Gracheva, who scored a total of 300 points on the Unified State Exam (USE) for three subjects: Russian language, advanced mathematics, and social studies;
  • To graduate of class 11 “A” Ekaterina Malankova, who scored 100 points on the Unified State Exam (EGE) in the Russian language;
  • To graduate of 11 “V” Georgiy Trofimenko, who scored 100 points on the USE in chemistry.

Parents of outstanding students were also invited onto the stage and presented with letters of appreciation and flowers.

The awarding of certificates and prizes to 37 gold medalists, including the winner of the “Future Managers Tournament” Sofia Kitaytseva, also took place solemnly.

The recipients of the silver medals, totaling 14 people, were awarded by Dmitry Bryukhanov and Deputy Director of the GUU Preuniversity Galina Lyutikova, and certificates were handed to the 27 most active graduates by the curators of the 11th grades.

One of the most touching moments was Marina Grigoryeva’s speech during the awarding of letters of gratitude from the parents of the graduates.

“For two years you have been our support and pillar, you have heard and understood us and your children. Without you, they would not have coped. This anniversary issue has become the most stellar: 54 medals, many certificates for victories at the Olympics and contests, letters of gratitude at various levels. Take care of your children, love, protect, and cherish them. Only good awaits ahead!” — concluded the director of the GUC Prefectorate.

The evening concluded with creative performances by teachers who took the stage with a “star” song, and graduates who prepared incredibly beautiful choreographic performances and a touching song.
