Beijing, June 24 /Xin Hua/ — The administration of Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is a “disturber of peace,” undermining peace and stability in the region, stubbornly adhering to a separatist position in the pursuit of “Taiwan independence,” an official representative of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of the PRC, Zhang Han, said on Wednesday.
According to her, the main cause of tension and instability in the Taiwan Strait lies in the fact that the DPP administration, relying on external forces and increasing military potential, strives for the “independence of Taiwan.”
