Er-Riyadh, June 23 /Xinhua/ — Saudi Arabia’s crude oil exports in April fell for the second consecutive month to the lowest level since January 2002. Such data was published on Monday by the Joint Organization Data Initiative (JODI).
According to statistics, Saudi oil exports decreased in April to 3.986 million barrels per day from March’s 4.974 million.
As noted, due to the blockade of the Hormuz Strait during the American-Israeli war with Iran, Saudi oil exports in March decreased by more than 30% compared to 7.276 million barrels per day in February.
Data also showed that crude oil production in Saudi Arabia in April decreased to 6.316 million barrels per day from 6.967 million in March, reaching the lowest level since January 2002, when JODI began collecting data on Saudi Arabia. –0–
