The government commission for improving the efficiency of the use of federal property and the development of territories approved the transfer to the management of “DOM.RF” of 17 hectares of land plots, as well as buildings and structures with a total area of more than 26.1 thousand sq. m in 14 regions of the country. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.

“Involvement in the turnover of unused federal property gives an additional impetus for development: new sites for residential and commercial construction are appearing, public spaces are being created, and conditions are being established for the restoration of cultural heritage sites. The government continues to work steadily in this direction. According to the decision of the board of the company “DOM.RF,” another 17 hectares of land and more than 26.1 thousand square meters of real estate in 14 subjects will be transferred. It is important that the list of lots includes four cultural heritage sites.””A preferential financing mechanism is provided for the recovery within the framework of the presidential program,” said Marat Khusnullin.

The specified monuments of history and architecture are located in the Bryansk, Kaluga, Penza, and Saratov regions. Among them are residential houses, estates, mansions, and administrative buildings, built from the mid-19th to the first third of the 20th century.

In addition, among the approved lots for transfer are plots with a total area of 4.8 hectares in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, and the Kirov region, where a total of about 20 thousand square meters of housing can be built.

Upon completion of the preparatory procedure for the sites, the property complexes and buildings intended for placement or construction of various facilities will be put up for auction.

“Involving unused federal property in turnover and its implementation is a significant part of the work of ‘DOM.RF’ to expand investors’ opportunities in carrying out various projects. As a result of our trades in cities, new microdistricts with a comfortable urban environment appear, housing construction rates grow in regions, and the business climate improves,” noted the Deputy General Director of ‘DOM.RF,’ Denis Filippov.

In addition, the implementation of two integrated development projects for territories previously transferred to investors in the Kaluga region and the Republic of Buryatia (a total of 8.8 hectares) with a total urban development potential of 131 thousand sq. m of housing was approved at the meeting.

The board also made a decision to transfer free of charge into the ownership of municipalities a total area of 1.49 hectares in the Rostov and Saratov regions.
