A comprehensive partnership between Russia and China through the prism of natural, cultural, and architectural codes of the two countries forms the basis of the exposition “Amur Region – the center of Russian-Chinese cooperation” at the “Far East Street” exhibition, which will be held from September 1 to 4 as part of the XI Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The organizer of the exhibition is the “Roscongress” Foundation with the support of the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District. The operator of the region’s participation in the exhibition is the Amur Region Investment Attraction Agency.
“In the territory of Amur Oblast, the largest infrastructure projects are being implemented. Among them are the construction of the Amur gas chemical complex and the Amur gas processing plant, the operation of the international bridge across the Amur, the creation of a cross-border cable road, and modern infrastructure facilities. New projects are emerging in the fields of agriculture, energy, mining industry, and the timber industry complex. In Priamurye, the country’s first civilian cosmodrome Vostochny ensures Russia’s independent access to space.”Thanks to the region, our country is strengthening cooperation with the friendly People’s Republic of China, and Blagoveshchensk is becoming the Far Eastern calling card for meetings with neighbors. We will continue to support the region in its initiatives, help attract investors and build new enterprises, develop ties with our foreign partners. These and other issues will be discussed at the Eastern Economic Forum. And the region itself will traditionally present its achievements at the exhibition “Street of the Far East,” – said the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation – plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum Yuri Trutnev.
“The Eastern Economic Forum is the main platform for presenting the potential of the Far Eastern regions, a place where strategic decisions are made. For the Amur region, participation in the EEF is an excellent opportunity not only to talk about our achievements but also to demonstrate, using specific examples of logistics, tourism, and humanitarian projects, how our cooperation with China is built. By the order of the President of Russia, a Center for Russian-Chinese Business Cooperation was established in Blagoveshchensk. For us, this is not only an important and complex task but also a mission.”We strive to make Blagoveshchensk the gateway of Russia to China. Our pavilion will tell about a unique project being implemented in the Amur region, and the experience of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. Thanks to the EEF, we attract attention to our region as a center of business cooperation with the PRC,” noted the governor of the Amur region, Vasily Orlov.
On the first floor of the pavilion, visitors will get acquainted with Russian-Chinese projects, in particular, the project “Construction of the world’s first cross-border cable car.” They will also be told about joint sports and cultural events, the format of effective business interaction. Visitors to the forum will be met by a holographic assistant who will be able to answer all questions of interest to the pavilion’s guests.
On the second floor, there will be a zone for the advanced directions of Priamurye’s development. Here, through interactive elements, a demonstration of achievements in agriculture and the space industry will be organized: a farmer simulator “Manage the combine” and a VR launch (360°) of the “Angara” rocket from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. On the interactive stand, projects are presented: Amur gas and chemical complex, Amur gas processing plant, Far Eastern agroterminal, GC “Sodruzhestvo”, “TargetAgro”, “AmurAgrocenter”, as well as mining and energy projects.
The innovation of this year is an additional pavilion “Tourism in the Amur Region,” which will present the tourist potential of the region in a new interactive space. Here, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the event calendar, select a suitable tourist route, watch vivid videos about rocket launches, natural phenomena, and industrial tourism sites. Materials from the contest “Far East – Land of Adventures” will be presented separately. On the second floor of the pavilion, a recreational area with a view of the sea will be organized.
Within the framework of the street exhibition, a trade pavilion will be placed, where products under the brand “Made in the Amur Region” will be presented: kvass, mead, dihydroquercetin (a food antioxidant), dried fruits, snacks, sausage and confectionery products, green tea, as well as souvenirs from local craftsmen.
One of the most famous ensembles of the Priamurye region – the Amur Folk Choir – will take part in the cultural program of the Eastern Economic Forum this year. The artists have been preparing a large-scale concert program for about a year, which will become a bright event of the forum. The performance of the choir will be dedicated to two important themes: the key achievements of the Amur Region and the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, announced for 2026.
The XI Eastern Economic Forum will be held from September 1–4 at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. During these days, the exhibition will be accessible to forum participants, and on September 5, 6, and 7, it will open to everyone interested. The organizer of the EEF is the Roscongress Foundation.
