Beijing, June 22 /Xinhua/ — On Monday, the Ministry of Finance of the PRC published a notice prohibiting the procurement of products produced by 46 American companies within the scope of government procurement.
Organizations participating in public procurement are prohibited from purchasing products manufactured by American companies included in the list, including Lockheed Martin Corporation and Raytheon Missiles & Defense, according to the document.
As reported by the ministry, the specified measure was approved in accordance with the current legislation and regulatory acts of the country. At the same time, the restriction does not apply to companies with American investments that operate in China.
