One of the oldest enterprises in Nakhodka – the Nakhodka ship repair plant – celebrated its 75th anniversary. Over three quarters of a century, one of the key enterprises in the ship repair and shipbuilding industry in the Primorsky Krai and the Russian Far East has undergone a path from a repair workshop on the coast of the Bay of Nakhodka to a modern high-tech production facility.

“Over three quarters of a century, the factory has followed a glorious path, becoming one of the flagships of shipbuilding and ship repair in the Far East. The professionalism of the team and strong technical potential have allowed the enterprise to make a significant contribution to the implementation of the most important government projects, including the construction of the foundations of offshore oil production platforms for the ‘Sakhalin-1’ and ‘Sakhalin-2’ projects, the erection of facilities for the APEC summit in Vladivostok, and the creation of capacities for a specialized sea oil port in the Bay of Kozmino. Today, the Nakhodka ship repair plant continues to develop confidently.”During the repair, dozens of civilian vessels and coastal border ships, reliably protecting the borders of the Motherland, are involved. An important project for the Far East is the construction of a series of modern crab-catching vessels under the investment quota program. Thank you for your work, love for Russia, and dedication to the chosen cause. I wish the enterprise further development and prosperity, and to the team — strong health, well-being, and new victories for the good of the Motherland!» – congratulated the enterprise on its anniversary the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev.

Since 2020, the company has proudly held the status of a resident of the Free Port Vladivostok (FPV). The enterprise has all the competencies to fulfill large orders not only in the construction and repair of vessels of various classes, but also in the manufacture of complex metal structures and the provision of a wide range of logistics services, including unique cargo operations.

“Preferential regimes in the Far East and in the Arctic provide enterprises with indispensable tools for the modernization of shipyards, the construction of modern vessels, and the strengthening of industrial potential, ensuring the stable development of the country’s fishing industry complex. In the status of a resident of the TOR ‘Yakutia,’ the Zhatay shipyard has been modernized; with the support of the TOR ‘Arctic Capital’ regime, a center for the construction of large-tonnage maritime structures has been established in the Murmansk region. The Nakhodka ship repair plant in the Primorsky Krai has been modernized in the status of a SPV resident.”State support allows successfully expanding production capacity and fulfilling orders of any complexity. KLAV continues to support the resident at every stage of project implementation,” noted Sergey Skaliy, Deputy General Director of KLAV for investment project support.

In addition to the above, the Nakhodka ship repair plant can safely be called one of the centers for servicing oil and gas projects in Sakhalin, both in terms of ship servicing and repair, and in the production of large metal structures, which are indispensable in the development of oil and gas fields on the continental shelf.

JSC “NS RZ” is a modern, dynamically developing enterprise with diversified production.

“As part of the development of the long-term strategy of JSC ‘NSRZ’, we are looking for new directions of activity, relying on historical experience and planning future projects. First and foremost, this is the merit of a cohesive and highly professional team capable of solving the most complex engineering and production tasks,” says Sergey Starovoytov, General Director of JSC ‘NSRZ’. “No less important roles are played by the trust and support from customers and partners, for whom NSRZ is a reliable contractor.”And, of course, one of the main drivers of development is systemic state support for the domestic shipbuilding and ship repair industry. A substantial contribution to the enterprise’s development was made by the ‘Quotas for the Keel’ program, in which the company plans to continue participating. At the same time, management is working out other scenarios for further growth. It is desired that this upturn, which we are currently experiencing, does not end.

Since 2020, JSC “NSRZ” has returned to large-scale shipbuilding. Within the framework of the state program “Quotas by the Keel,” the enterprise, which has always had all the capabilities for this, began constructing modern, technologically advanced commercial crab fishing vessels. To implement KRDV investment projects, JSC “NSRZ” supports activities by ensuring the application of tax benefits and administrative preferences. An enterprise with diversified production, as well as a resident of the free port of Vladivostok, the plant is included among the flagship enterprises of Primorsky Krai and the entire Far Eastern Federal District.

On June 10, 2026, NSRZ launched the ninth crab fishing vessel built under the “Quotas Under the Keel” program – “Alexander Rodin” (project 03141). Currently, a total of 11 fishing vessels are being constructed at the enterprise: five of project 03141, two of project GM 5.03, and four of project CCa5712LS. Additionally, four crab fishing vessels – “Kapitan,” “Kapitan Khazan,” “Dmitriy Konoplyov,” and “Busta Natali” – built according to project CCa5712LS, which has no analogues in the world, have already been delivered to the customer and have gone out to fish in the Okhotsk Sea.

Currently, more than 1200 people work at the plant. These are specialists of various qualifications, including highly skilled and narrowly specialized professionals from different parts of the country. Over the past 5 years, within the framework of ship repair programs at the enterprise, more than 300 vessels have been repaired. NSRZ is today rightly considered one of the leaders in the shipbuilding industry not only of Primorsky Krai but also of all Russia.
