Washington, June 19 /Xin Hua/ — The trip of US Vice President Jay Dee Wensa to Switzerland to conduct negotiations with Iran, originally planned for Friday, has been postponed. This was reported on Thursday from the White House.

“At the moment, the vice-president is not planning to leave this evening,” noted the representative of the White House, adding that “the organizational aspects of these negotiations have never been simple or predictable.”

It is noted that the plans for the upcoming technical negotiations have not yet been finalized, and the US delegation is ready to fly out at the earliest opportunity. “We hope to start the technical negotiations as soon as possible,” said the representative.

Senior Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Thursday confirmed that permission was granted for concluding a memorandum of understanding with the USA, although he had previously held a different opinion.
