Valuable Artifacts from Greece Presented in Xi’an

On June 14, a special exhibition “Art in Gold. Jewelry of the Archaic and Hellenistic Periods” opened at the Shaanxi Provincial Museum in the city of Xi’an. The organizer of the exhibition is the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, with co-organizers being the Ministry of Culture of Greece and the Benaki Museum in Athens. The exhibition features 250 items (sets) of valuable artifacts from 25 museums and archaeological institutions of Greece. The exposition, dedicated to the art of gold processing, systematically presents artistic achievements and a picture of cultural exchange of the Archaic and Hellenistic periods. The exhibition will run until November 29, 2026.
