The decision was made after consultations with the Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Harnais will coordinate the activities of the UN agency and partner NGOs, based in the city of Beni, one of the Ebola outbreak centers in eastern DR Congo.
