Beijing, June 18 /Xin Hua/ — As of the end of May this year, the China Development Bank (CDB) has issued loans totaling 213.3 billion yuan (about 31.3 billion US dollars) to promote technological transformation and equipment modernization. This was reported by the CDB on Thursday.
According to data from the State Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the loans issued, covering such sectors as industry, energy and electricity, transport and logistics, supported 366 enterprises and 507 projects.
According to GBRK data, almost 70 percent of issued loans were directed towards intellectual, ecological, high-tech, and complex transformation and modernization of traditional industry sectors.
In the HBRK, it was stated that during the first five months of this year, the volume of loans issued by the bank for technological transformation and modernization of equipment increased by 120% annually.
The State Budgetary Credit Institution noted that the bank is also simplifying the submission of applications for subsidizing interest on loans in order to help enterprises more effectively obtain access to subsidized funds.
GBLK states that in the future, within the framework of programs for large-scale modernization of equipment and the exchange of old consumer goods for new ones /trade-in/, GBLK will strengthen innovations in product and service model mechanisms, as well as further expand financial support to stimulate domestic demand and develop productive forces of a new quality.
