On June 18, the opening of a coworking space for students was held at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, created with the support of the TECHNONICOL Corporation — a long-time partner of the university.
The new space of 178 sq. m is designed for independent work, meetings, communication, project preparation, and conducting student events. Comfortable conditions for studying and interaction outside of classrooms have been created here. Modern design solutions were used in the room’s decoration.

“I am confident that this space will be very popular with our students. Here they can hold meetings, work on projects, socialize, and realize interesting creative ideas. Independent work and interaction with other students are an integral part of the educational process, and the new, modern space will make them more comfortable and effective. The doors of this ‘space of new opportunities’ will always be open, and I hope that students will find their second home here during their free time from attending classes,” said Svetlana Golovina.
On behalf of the TECHNOCOL corporation, the company’s vice-president participated in the eventEvgeny Voylov. In his welcoming speech, he noted: “Modern specialist training requires not only a strong educational program but also an environment where students can work in a team, discuss ideas, and share experiences. For us, it is important to create conditions that help future specialists be more confident in their profession and better understand the tasks of the construction industry.”
Words of gratitude were addressed to the staff of SPbGASU and specialists who took part in the preparation and reconstruction of the premises. Representatives of the university’s departments, who ensured the coordination of the work, architectural support of the project, and issues of comprehensive security, were awarded certificates of appreciation.
“Today, it is important for the university not only to provide a high level of specialist training, but also to create conditions for the exchange of ideas, teamwork, and the emergence of new initiatives. The opening of this platform expands the capabilities of SPbGASU and becomes yet another step in the development of a modern educational environment. I am confident that the space will be in demand by students and will help them participate more actively in university life,” noted the rector of SPbGASU.Evgeny Rybnov.
